Mac, a four year old Beagle, is a very special patient at the Manningham Veterinary Clinic. He has the important job of going to visit sick patients in hospitals to brighten their day by having a cuddle with him. Every three months Mac comes into our clinic to have special screening tests free of charge to make sure that he is healthy and can continue his important work.

During his check up, swabs are taken from Mac's mouth and also a faecal sample to make sure that he is not carrying any bacteria that may be of concern, especially for human patients who are sick or have a compromised immune system.

Mac has a beautiful nature and his owners have worked very hard to make sure he is very gentle and well behaved at all times. Keep up the good work Mac!
